How do I add Hard Disk Drive without restarting my Computer
I'm not a pro but at least I want to share according to my experience:
1. Set your IDE HDD jumper setup to slave (usually no jumper)
2. Unscrew and your CPU casing
3. add IDE cable to your Motherboard's IDE slot 2 or the extra slot
4. connect the other end of connected IDE cable to you HDD
5. insert CPU harness 12vdc to your HDD do not hit other terminals or else your computer will instantly shut down.
6. open device manager (Start/windows button>Computer>Properties>Device Manager)
7. Right click Computer Name then select (Scan for hardware changes)
